Big Meadows is a private licensed intermediate care facility providing 24-hour nursing care along with dietary, laundry, housekeeping, maintenance, social services and recreational therapy programming.

Big Meadows accepts many forms of payment including Medicaid, private pay and insurance. Our Social Services staff will be a happy to assist you with accessing all benefits available to you.

Private Rooms Guaranteed!

Big Meadows offers private rooms for each resident regardless of payment source. Each individual creates their own living space, filled with personal items and memoirs. Families are encouraged to decorate and arrange the room in any way they like to truly make it personalized and comfortable. A Memory Box is provided to display mementos outside the resident's room, allowing others to learn more about them.

A two-room suite may be available for those couples wanting to continue to share their space. Please inquire with the Social Services Director.

Big Meadows Respite Services

Big Meadows provides respite services for short-term stays to accommodate vacations or just to give caregivers a well deserved break. Big Meadow’s Respite Services provides reassurance and the peace of mind that comes from knowing that a loved one is well cared for.

Big Meadows contracts with several area Hospice agencies, who provide additional supportive care and medical interventions.

Alzheimer's & Dementia Care Support Groups

Residents with dementia often experience changes in the way they express themselves and understand others. Big Meadows hosts a Family Support Group, which families and interested community members are encouraged to attend.

Admissions

Big Meadows' rapid referral process will accommodate same-day admissions whenever possible, weekends included. Big Meadows accepts admissions 7 days per week, 24 hours per day. That's our customer service pledge.
